Now (Fibonacci poem)

War,
Death,
Crippled,
Refugees,
Cities burnt to ground,
Little children without parents,
       Blindly traveling into a future uncertain.
Good Samaritans committed to help the needy, the unsecured fear for their own.
         The escapee’s desperate desire is justified,
Defend forts substantiated.
Everyone is Right.
Tolerance,
Abide,
Feel,
Love.

* A Fibonacci poem (or Fib) is a multiple-line poem based on the ‘Fibonacci sequence’: the number of syllables in each line equals the total number of syllables in the preceding two lines. (1,1,2,3,5,8,13,21,34,55, etc.)
